Windows Local Services Eating "ALL" Of My Internet
Hey guys, I just delivered to Windows 10, the only real reason I stayed on Windows 7 even though checking 10, was the insane internet using Windows 10. Today I installed it back and I am really seeking serious help.
Thing is, my Windows 10 uses "ALL of my internet", I have 1Mbps for the present time and when I see the project manager, it shows "Local Services" using every one of my 1.3Mbps via ISP. The level of usage is indeed insane that I can't use simple browser or google something from internet, I have to disconnect PC every minute to check on my phone "notifications", you can think of how hard it really is for me, the unit can't even get notifications if my PC is linked to internet.
I have previously tried some tips to fix this, but it is still a similar. I used "Defer Updates" option, etc.
Thanks,
Ryan.
Please expand Service Host: Local System, then post another screen shot. There are 18 entries there which should be looked at.
I would guess it really is Windows update. Since you just reinstalled Windows 10, it's likely getting updates. What do you observe when you look under Updates and Security in settings?
It's all disabled approximately I could, there won't be any updates available (not just GeForce drives), because I stopped it myself, I would rather prefer getting Nvidia drivers using GeForce experience then make use of Windows Updates feature, it downloads lots of other features next to each other.
I tried killing services hosts yesterday and my network was free when I killed "User profile services", then again my windows got corrupted and I needed to reset it.
Does that mean I can't operate Windows 10 by any means? I have to make use of that service which takes most of my internet. This is literally .....
Already did that, still using most of my speed.
In that case, try some Windows 10 privacy tools, they disable lots of network activities.
Lastly, you can test my tweaks, which effectively kill anything by MS, light version ought to do not harm much, I created it for my mom, but no guarantees, so unless you are able to clean install, don't try it. Download bat, run it as being admin, restart.
Used your bath file, undecided if it's fixed because I can't open task manager. How do I have that back?
And perhaps there is any way to find the stuff back? Like, many misc stuff is slowly removed, will it be gone permanently?

Some actual help that could fix it, will probably be appreciated.
Thanks,

Defer Updates is selected inside.

Try to disable sharing Windows Updates.
Already did that, still using most of my speed.
