Turn Windows Features On Or Off
I attended Control Panel > Programs > Turn Windows features on or off. I ticked this area for Internet Information Services, thus hitting OK. Not all of the functions were successfully changed."
Can someone please help for this issue.

Please ensure you have installed the newest version of .Net Framework. If so, you can utilize the .Net Framework Repair Tool to correct some problems.
And look IIS installation log for additional detailed error information. The path of IIS installation log is C:Windowsiis.log

Perhaps the reason is that the previous IIS config files has not been deleted when you updated Win8 to Win10, then these old config files confused the IIS installer .
Please remove all that old IIS config files properly before install IIS 10.

The configuration files for IIS 7 and then are located inside your %WinDir%System32InetsrvConfig folder, and you may find more info about the primary configuration files inside the following link.

Some config files are found in your .NET Framework folder.
- Machine.config. This file is situated in %windir%Microsoft.NETFrameworkframework_versionCONFIG.
- Root Web.config to the .NET Framework. This file is situated in %windir%Microsoft.NETFrameworkframework_versionCONFIG
You can try reinstalling the .NET Framework, then install IIS.

Feb 08, 2018 01:45 PM|marcw1957|LINK I have a similar issue post-update. I updated Windows 7 to Windows 10. The Windows 7 would have been a clean install following a disk problem, and I'd not got around to installing IIS.
After the update, I want to fit IIS; I go on the "Programs and Features" menu, click "Turn Windows features on or off", and select IIS through the menu.
It then sits there saying: "Searching for required files...." - apparently forever.
No errors - however it's been in that state for 25 minutes now.
NB just did the same on another machine that's had Win10 from new, plus it completed in about 2 minutes.
Both are i7 machines with SSD disks.
So this is apparently linked to your upgrade issue.
**UPDATE**
Seems to possess been a concern with the upgrade itself: got onto MS support chat, plus a technician took over my PC and did an in-place repair with the installation; I can now install IIS (and have absolutely done so).
So - if you've got the same issue as me, look at your Windows for virtually every failed updates, pay attention to system integrity etc.
Apparently, several executables were corrupted.
