If not how do I produce a bootable DVD or USB in the downloaded
I work with a number of computers that can't boot USB so I use my CD/DVD Burning program to generate the bootable DVD from that .iso file.
The file may be bootable, try first burning to DVD and pay attention to if it can boot. If not, there's a utility called Plop Boot Manager that will enable any PC on top of that from USB, independently of BIOS support. It is an ISO you can burn to your CD and use it to start the computer with. It then presents you which has a custom boot loader that allows you on top of that from every possible device using your laptop, including USB DVD-ROM or USB disk drive or USB flash drive. This way you may first boot from that CD and detect and chose your USB flash drive too and install Windows 10. It is great for old PCs that their BIOS supports boot coming from a CD-ROM but not coming from a DVD-ROM even though you have a DVD-RW drive connected. You can either make use of it to boot in the DVD-ROM or from your USB flash drive.
A good and straightforward burn program to lose a bootable DVD is ImgBurn. And is Freeware.
Well ImgBurn will burn an ISO file to DVD, wait, how can it allow it to be bootable? The ISO file must contain bootable code to start with. If you extract the boot sector at a bootable Windows 7 or more DVD, it is possible to use Nero (or any other software) to feature it to a ISO compilation in order to allow it to be bootable. But first burn your ISO to disk and appearance it. It could already be bootable.
My mistake! Have it corrected!
